TechSERVE Announcement

TechSERVE is the newest program of the PSLA at the University of Pittsburgh. It offers girls, ages 9-14, the opportunity to learn computer technology skills, explore careers and serve their communities. The program will include:

  • Service-learning projects
  • Keyboarding skills
  • Homework help
  • Mentor/student relationships
  • Job shadow programs
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Reflection time
  • Professional development
  • Career exploration
  • Volunteer opportunities
  • Individual attention

Beginning in October, TechSERVE programs will commence in Beaver County and Penn Hills. We are looking for more schools, teachers and students to get involved.
