[printer friendly (text) page] Digital Sisters: Website Review Digital Sisters, Inc. is an educational and outreach organization dedicated to providing support and assistance to young girls and women of color, for and through information technology. The Digital Sisters website is abound with resources to further this mission. Visitors to the website are kept up-to-date with technology events, conferences and seminars that address a variety of issues. Resources on the website include a compilation of online and offline technology-related learning opportunities and resources specifically oriented for teachers and students. Among the resources included for girls, women and families are listings of information technology job opportunities and a collection of links to women in a variety of IT professions who share their stories and offer support. Volunteer opportunities are also posted on the site for individuals who wish to contribute their expertise to further the mission of Digital Sisters.
