[printer friendly (text) page] Grants for Service-Learning Constitutional Rights Foundation Service-Learning Mini Grants by Cynthia Belliveau, Ph.D. The Constitutional Rights Foundation announces
the availability of $500.00 mini grants to support-service
learning projects in classrooms across the country.
The mini-grant program honors the late Maurice R. "Robbie" Robinson,
founder of Scholastic, Inc., a champion of innovative
education and a longtime supporter of effective citizenship
education. The grants are available for K–12
service-learning projects that address serious
community issues, are connected to the curriculum and
have a strong youth voice. Applications are available
on the CRF web-site, http://www.crf-usa.org/. The
deadline for grant applications is October 18, 2002.
