MLK Day Workshop: Open to Everyone!

MLK Day Workshop

Sponsored by the Pennsylvania Service-Learning Alliance at the University of Pittsburgh

When: December 5, 2002
Where: University of Pittsburgh
Time: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm (Lunch will be served!)
Deadline to Register: November 29

Teachers welcome! Students welcome!
AmeriCorps members and program staff welcome!
Anyone interested in developing an MLK Day project is welcome!

Why attend this workshop?
1. Because January 20th (MLK Day) will be here before you know it.
2. So you can learn how to make MLK Day a “Day On” and not a “Day Off” in your classroom, community and school.
3. So you can develop a service-learning project in the spirit of Martin Luther King, Jr.
4. So you can learn about other MLK Day projects in the region that you and your students can participate in or support with service-learning.
5. Because it is free and you can earn Act 48 hours for participating.
