PACE Conference in State College: An Event NOT to be Missed!

A Conference for Teachers and Community Advocates
The Pennsylvania Service-Learning Alliance
and the Pennsylvania Alliance for Character Education
will once again be sponsoring a conference on service-learning
and character education this summer. Join us July
9-10, 2003 in State College, PA for this exciting
Act 48 opportunity! This conference will help
you learn how to incorporate service-learning and character
education into your K-12 curriculum. It will be a great
chance for you to meet and network with teachers who
are experienced with service-learning and character
education. The conference will be held at the Nittany
Lion Inn and the Penn Stater in beautiful State College,
PA. The registration fee for the conference is only
$50, which includes all workshops and meals. Reduced
lodging rates are available at both the Nittany Lion
Inn and the Penn Stater.
