Description of Center:

The Student Service Learning Center is made up of a team of trained students and teachers who train other teachers and students about the methods behind service-learning. It is the purpose of the student in the center to organize projects with a participating teacher and class.

Projects:

  • PROJECT LINUS --quilts for ill children
  • FOOD DRIVES--local students benefit
  • READ ACROSS AMERICA--celebrat Dr. Seuss' birthday
  • GENERATION GROWING TOGETHER--working with local Adult Day Care and elementary schools organizing projects
  • BOO BOO BUNNIES
  • JELLY MAKING
  • BAKING COOKIES FOR VETERANS
  • PAINTING WINDOWS IN COMMUNITY FOR CHRISTMAS
