Description:
The conference call will focus on how 21st Century Community Learning
Centers can build character and promote positive behaviors of students
.
The call will help 21 C Centers promote positive traits of caring,
responsibility, honest and citizenship.
During the call a variety of methods of integrating character education
will be introduced including reading activities, peer mentoring, etc.
A particular emphasis will be placed on how students can develop classroom
Codes of Ethics that will provide helpful guidelines for student behavior
and allow for self monitoring of behavior by students.

Presentation: A powerpoint presentation will be developed, to be used in conjunction with the conference call. Participants are also encouraged to share the powerpoint with additional 21CCLC staff.
