Topic: "Lights on Afterschool" 

Thanks to all the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grantees that joined us on Tuesday for the first conference call/power point presentation sponsored by the PSLA.  We had a lively and informative discussion about the upcoming Lights on After School initiative on October 14th.  We heard about the great projects being formulated by many of our grantees.  Pennsylvania is being well represented!

There was some interest in a suggested project of having students in the 21st Century Programs make simple quilts. Even if you were not on the conference call you might find this helpful, if not for Lights On, but for a fun activity.  At this site you can also download the powerpoint presentation we went through on the conference call.
